Booking Conditions

These booking conditions form the basis of your agreement with Safaride. Please read them carefully before confirming your safari, trekking, or Zanzibar holiday.

1. Reservations & Deposits

A booking with Safaride is considered confirmed only upon receipt of a deposit equal to 30% of the total tour price. This secures your safari, trekking, or Zanzibar package.

The remaining balance must be paid no later than 60 days before departure. For bookings made within 45 days of departure, full payment is required immediately.

All payments must be cleared in full before the start of your safari.

2. Visas & Entry Requirements

Travelers are responsible for ensuring they meet all entry requirements for Tanzania. An E-Visa is recommended to speed entry at ports of arrival, though Visa on Arrival is available at major international airports and some land borders.

Passports must be valid for at least six months and have at least one blank page. Some nationalities may be required to obtain a visa in advance — please check before travelling.

3. Mandatory Travel Insurance

All international visitors to mainland Tanzania and Zanzibar are required to hold travel insurance. Safaride strongly recommends comprehensive policies covering medical, evacuation, and repatriation.

Proof of valid travel insurance may be required at entry and during your safari.

4. Health Requirements

A Yellow Fever vaccination certificate is required if you are arriving from, or transiting through, a high-risk country. Always check the latest health advisories before travel.

Certain travel health recommendations — such as malaria prophylaxis — may apply depending on your itinerary.

5. Cancellations & Refunds

Cancellations more than 60 days before departure: deposit refundable less a 10% administration fee.

Cancellations 30–59 days before departure: 50% of total tour cost is charged.

Cancellations less than 30 days before departure: 100% of total tour cost is charged.

Government-issued fees such as visas, insurance, and park entries are non-refundable once processed.

6. Liability

Safaride acts only as an agent arranging services provided by third-party suppliers (hotels, airlines, safari operators, transport, etc.). We are not liable for delays, cancellations, injury, loss, or damage arising from natural disasters, government regulations, or other third-party services.

Travelers must ensure compliance with all entry and travel requirements and carry valid documentation.

7. Governing Law

All bookings with Safaride are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania. Any disputes between the traveler and Safaride will be resolved under Tanzanian jurisdiction.
